Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Laicos Digital ("we", "us") collects when you use laicosdigital.com or buy from us, why we collect it, and your rights. We are based in Southall, West London, and we are the data controller for the information described here. Questions about this policy: info@laicosdigital.com.

What we collect

  • Enquiries. When you use our contact form or request a quote: your name, email, phone number, company, the topic and your message.
  • Orders and payments. When you buy a package, print or a service: your name, email, phone, billing and delivery address and what you bought. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
  • Website briefs and files. If you buy a website, the answers you give in your brief and any files you upload (for example logos, brand guidelines, photos and text). For print orders, the artwork you send us.
  • Emails. Messages you send us and the emails we send you about your enquiry or order.
  • On this website. Your print basket is saved in your own browser so it is still there when you come back. We count visits with our own privacy-friendly analytics: which pages are viewed, the site that referred you, your country (from your connection), and your device type, browser and operating system. It uses no cookies, does not store your IP address, and cannot recognise you from one day to the next. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes and proposals (with your consent, which you give when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding).
  • To deliver what you have bought: building your website, printing and delivering your order, and running your marketing (to perform our contract with you).
  • To take payments, send receipts and keep accounting records (contract and legal obligation).
  • To keep our systems secure and prevent spam and fraud (legitimate interests).
  • To understand how the website is used so we can improve it, using anonymous visit statistics (legitimate interests).

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the website and our business. They only process your information on our instructions:

  • Stripe: card payments and invoices.
  • Vercel: website hosting and file storage.
  • Neon: the secure database for enquiries, customers and orders.
  • Resend: sending order and enquiry emails.
  • GoDaddy: our email inbox.
  • Google Fonts: the fonts on this website, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.

Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where information leaves the UK it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 2 years, then deleted.
  • Anonymous website visit statistics: up to 13 months.
  • Customer, order and payment records: 6 years after the end of the financial year, as required for tax and accounting.
  • Website briefs and project files: for as long as we work together, and up to 2 years afterwards in case you need them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email info@laicosdigital.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Keeping it safe

Our systems use encrypted connections, access is limited to our team through individual password-protected accounts, and payments are processed by Stripe to PCI DSS standards.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
